Dr. Samuel Owusu-Acheampong is an economist, accountant and a financial consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Sociology from University of Ghana, an MBA with accounting concentration and a doctorate in Business Administration from USA.
In Ghana, after serving his National Service at Acherensua Secondary School and been offered a position as a Project Manager at National Savings and Credit Bank, he sojourned to Nigeria, where he taught as a graduate teacher at Majidun Community College in Lagos State. He also served as the Vice Principal (Academic) of the same school. Currently, he is a Visiting Professor and Director of Finance at West End University College in Accra, Ghana.
In USA, he has worked as an accountant and comptroller with Minority Enterprises Inc. (MEI) and AMLINER East Inc.; both large construction companies in Vienna, Virginia. He has also worked as an accountant at several accounting firms. He is the founder of Ashanti Inc and Universal Financial Services & Mortgages, LLC specializing in Accounting, Management, Financial, Insurance and Mortgage consulting. They are also Tax Accountants (CPAs and Enrolled Agents).
He is married to Elizabeth Ohene-Adwo and they are blessed with five children and six grandchildren.
